Girls groups forming now

RAVEN’s Healthy Relationships and Non Violence Education Program for Girls
The Youth Violence Prevention Program offers girls ages 12-17 a 12-week Healthy Relationships and Violence Prevention group.  Each group is 1 hour a week until each youth has fulfilled their obligations.  In this group, youth will be expected to participate with other youth in group discussions and activities. The majority of our program focuses on challenging beliefs and educating about gender and violence, feelings, and behaviors.

  • Gender Socialization and Social Pressure
  • Boundaries and Sexual Harassment
  • Assertive Communication

  • Conflict Resolution
  • Experiences of Oppression and Stereotypes

RAVEN currently provides service and groups at no cost in Wood River, IL in conjunction with Riverbend Family Ministries.  You must schedule an assessment before a youth can be enrolled in group.
