Practical ways you can partner with us
First and foremost, pray for our volunteers, facilitators, therapists and the clients they serve.
A volunteer is anyone who provides time, talent, and resources through work on construction, office, committees, client service, special events, or other RFM projects. You are valued and we thank you. Volunteering helps build organizational strength. That strength comes not only from growing and retaining partners and enhancing programs and services, but also in the sense of ownership that volunteers gain when they become visible advocates for RFM.
3. Contribute financially
Over 93% of monies donated goes toward client services. Every dollar matters in the lives of our families. Please consider partnering with us in one of the ways below:
Become a sustainer
A Sustainer is an investor who commits to making a financial gift on a monthly basis. Those who give monthly help provide us with the stable, predictable income we need to pay our ongoing operating expenses.
Gifts of cash, stocks or property are immediately translated into the lives of children and families in crisis. Gifts may be made online, securely through Paypal by clicking the “Give Now” button at the top of each page, or by mail to 131 E. Ferguson Ave. Wood River, IL 62095.
RFM is pleased to offer a convenient way for supporters to make a regular gift to the ministry. We can arrange an automatic transfer from your bank account directly to RFM each month. You can terminate or alter the arrangement at any time. For more information about setting up an automatic transfer contact Tammy Iskarous at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone at (618) 251-9790 ext. 202.
You can leave a legacy through planned gifts such as wills, gift annuities, life insurance policies, etc. and ensure the continued stability and expansion of the services offered here at RFM. For long-term friends of our ministry, a planned gift can permanently endow regular support, providing for children and families well into the future.
Become a supporting church
Add RFM to your Church’s Budget. Churches from across the Riverbend have chosen to invest in our ministry by including RFM in their church budgets. Some churches send a percentage of their undesignated gifts monthly, others choose to send a fixed amount each month. Regardless of the method your church chooses, the regular financial support it provides can have a profound impact on the lives of those served.
Company matches and volunteer programs
Employee matching gifts (also known as matching funds) are grants an employer makes to match its employees’ charitable contributions. Usually associated with corporate grant makers, employee matching gifts often are dollar-for-dollar, but some companies will give double or even triple the original donation. Some companies may also give matching gifts for employees’ volunteer efforts. Procedures vary with each company. Typically, individuals must submit forms to their employers. They usually can get more information about their matching gift benefits from their human resources department.
Amazon Smile is a simple and automatic way for you to support your favorite charitable organization every time you shop, at no cost to you. When you shop at smile.amazon.com, you’ll find the exact same low prices, vast selection and convenient shopping experience as Amazon.com, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate a portion of the purchase price to your favorite charitable organization.
